Bridal Expo 2011 Record Attendance!

Did you attend Calgary’s largest fall Bridal show, Bridal Expo, last weekend?  Bridal Expo, held at the BMO Centre at Stampede Park, had record attendance with over 1300 brides attending on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Besides stunning displays with over 120 Wedding Specialists there to help answer the brides’ questions, Bridal Expo also hosted Alberta’s largest bridal gown sale where brides could purchase discontinued designer gowns starting at $199.00 .

KAIT KUCY ,  the author of popular blog yuppielove.org,  judged the Best Booth Awards . The winners were:

Best use of colour –  Lavish Wedding Planning and Design;

Best  staff presentation  - Moores Clothing;

Best overall booth design –  Lynn Fletcher Weddings;

Best signage  - Andras Schram Photography;

Best gift / give away – Cakery Bakery;

Best brochure or print piece – Four Points Sheraton;

Best product display - La Fleur Floral Boutique

This was the first year for our VIP ticket where brides enjoyed  red carpet treatment, front row seating for the fashion show and the luxury of the VIP lounge sponsored by La Fleur Floral Boutique.  Check out the 2011 trends at the Fashion Show.

Oh,.. and then there were the white fascinators presented by Ruby Roo Designs. Brides who were spotted wearing them received gifts of flowers and chocolate … so much fun!
