Glittery Wedding Decor from Naturally Chic Designs

What better way to start a week than with glittery wedding decor? As soon as we saw these table numbers from Naturally Chic Designs, we absolutely fell in love! Big, bright and bold but sophisticated at the same time, we also love how Naturally Chic combined them with beautiful foliage to soften the impact and give it some texture. Another big win for this amazing team, these table numbers just look fantastic atop the wood grain table.

Calgary Wedding Photographer Geoff Wilkings E-session

Today Calgary Bride features an e-session by the talented “Calgary Wedding Photographer” Geoff  from Geoff Wilkings Photography. Your wedding day will be amazing with Geoff behind the lens and he settles for nothing less than outstanding photography.

Rebecca and Garth’s engagement shoot was taken down in Fish Creek Park, one of the largest urban parks in Canada and is a beautiful spot for photographs. The park extends from the Tsuu Tina Nation reserve in the west more than 20 kilometers to the Bow River in the east. While Calgary has grown around it, the park has remained an extensive protected natural area with much to offer.

Geoff, Rebecca and Garth enjoyed the late afternoon with huge stormy clouds and Geoff was able to sneak in some sunset shoots too.  Geoff says “They are an  extremely fun and active couple and they love to bike.”  (Now that’s a couple after my own heart, as I am heading out on my Trek Madone after this post!)

Rebecca and Garth are getting married next month. The plan is to get ready at  the Palliser Hotel and the ceremony will take place at Confederation Park. The reception will be held at the beautiful Bonterra Trattoria Restaurant on 12th Avenue SW.

   The 2012/13 Calgary Bridal Guide had an amazing launch party on Monday, July 23. Hosted by the Dade Gallery in Inglewood with tasty food by Simply Elegant Catering, the who’s who of the Calgary wedding industry came out to toast the 17th edition of the guide. Set to hit newsstands next week, it’s Calgary most complete and thorough resource when it comes to wedding planning and it will be available at Chapters, Indigo, Safeway, CO-OP and Walmart.
